COST AND REGISTRATION

Room, board, and tuition are $375 ($325 if paid in full before June 1). Day student rate is $259 ($209 if paid in full before June 1). The cost for chaperones is $275 ($225 if paid in full before June 1). A non-refundable $50 deposit with completed pre-registration is required to reserve a seat, balance due no later than June 8. A medical form, student covenant, and general information application will be sent to those pre-registering and must be completed and returned before the conference begins. Space is limited, so students are encouraged to register early. Call for information on space availability if you desire +1.757.826-5942. A $25.00 late fee is added to unpaid registrations after June 8.

FACILITIES

CWSC uses the campus of Christopher Newport University in Newport News, Virginia. Dorms and meeting facilities are air-conditioned. From I-64 take Exit 258A. You will be on J. Clyde Morris Boulevard. At the second major intersection (Warwick Boulevard) go straight and follow the signs to the CNU entrance.

ADMISSION POLICY

CWSC accepts students of any denomination, race, and national origin. Students eligible to attend must be between rising 10th grade through college. (10th grade students must be 15 by Oct. 1, 2008) Attendees are expected to have a serious desire to learn, enjoy Christian fellowship, and practice submission to conference rules and leadership. While there is ample time for fellowship, students should understand that there will be over thirty hours of instruction. Although located near the beach and many tourist attractions, there is no planned trip to these. Groups must find time to visit such before the conference begins or after it is concluded. We do not encourage parents to force their children to come.

ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE

Students are responsible for their own travel plans. CWSC will assist with transportation from airports in Norfolk and Newport News, preferably Newport News/Williamsburg Airport, if possible. We request that you arrange a flight that arrives no later than 10:00 p.m., and not on Sunday. Those needing a Saturday stay over for better flight rates may request lodging in homes of church members. Please let us know as soon as possible so that we can make housing arrangements. Conference begins Monday, July 7, with the evening meal and concludes Saturday, July 12, with breakfast. Students may register after 2:00 p.m. on Monday.

WHAT TO BRING/NOT BRING

Bring Bible, pen, notebook, pillow, blanket, money for snacks and book table, and modest clothing (longer shorts okay, tops must cover midriff), jeans are acceptable. Also, no spaghetti straps. If you desire, bring sports equipment, such as tennis racket, ball gloves, etc. DO NOT bring sheets, pillowcase, towels, washcloth (these are provided), TVs, large radios, inappropriate literature or music.

COLLEGE CREDIT

Students enrolled at Christ College may obtain course credit by attending the conference.
