In order to use our services, a potential customer must first complete the appropriate registration form. During registration the customer is required to give their contact information (such as name and e-mail address). This information is used to contact the customer about the services which they have purchased, or about which they have contacted us.

In order to make payment to Clearlight Communications, a customer must provide contact information (such as name and shipping address) and financial information (such as credit card number, expiration date). Customer information may be available as a consequence of the specific services ordered. For example, domain name registration requires that customer information be made available through a central registry as well as a public WHOIS server. Contracting for other services may require that customer data be shared with a service provider in order to provide the service.

This Web site takes every precaution to protect our customers’ information. When you submit sensitive information via the Web site, your information is protected both online and offline.

When our registration forms ask you to enter sensitive information (such as credit card number and/or social security number), that information is encrypted and protected.

In the event a customer forgets their password, they must provide personal information to authenticate themselves and obtain the password.

If a customer’s personally identifiable information changes, or if a customer no longer desires our services, we will endeavor to provide a way to correct, update or remove that customer’s personal data in our records.

Clearlight Communications‘s policies and procedures for handling customer information have been created with the understanding that Internet technologies are still evolving and that Internet business methods are continuing to evolve to meet the needs and opportunities of the changing technologies. As a result, these policies and procedures are subject to change.

If we change our privacy policy, we will post the changes on this page so that our customers will always be aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under circumstances, if any, we disclose it.
