Set Your Web Development Shop Apart From the Pack

We wish to work closely with developers who can take advantage of our robust programming environment to provide unique solutions to end-users. We don't set up "middlemen" who simply repackage our basic service and sell it at a higher price. Our reseller program is "value-add" because your clients rely on your expertise for the creation and maintenance of their web sites. Under our program, the reseller must be the sole maintainer for any web space sold. You may set your own prices in packaging your services with ours.

Our value-added program provides developers with a great deal of flexibility in serving their clients.

A developer with a Clearlight account at any level may take advantage of our "Add-on" account options which are designed to allow developers to provide domain name services to their clients.

"Add-On" to Provide Unique Client Services

We provide three special account options that allow developers to offer a domain name and associated services to their clients. These accounts allow the developer to maintain multiple accounts from a single login, provide flexibility in providing domain email services, and reduce costs.

Domain Add-on Option The Domain Add-On provides name service for extra domains, as well as email alias capability for the domain. This is the best choice if you or your client want multiple domains to point to the same website or a domain to point to a single unique page. Our system provides a "catch-all" email alias to redirect email for the domain. In addition, email aliases for specific user names under the domain can also be configured by the account owner.

The Domain Add-On option is available for a $25 one-time setup fee and a $2 monthly service charge. A $25 domain name registration fee (good for one year) is invoiced directly by Clearlight Communications to you or your client. POP/Webmail accounts ($1 per month) and monthly reports ($1 per month) may be purchased for use with this option, if desired. A Domain Name Add-on can be upgraded to a Virtual Server or Virtual Server Pro Add-on (see below) at any time.

Virtual Server Add-on Option This popular option allows developers to provide an inexpensive "Virtual Server" to clients from their own account. The account adds 300MB of disk space to your existing disk allowance, and comes with 5GB of traffic, monthly reports, and 5 extra email accounts for your client.

Like the Domain Add-on, the Virtual Server Add-on provides powerful email aliasing and user-configurable forwarding. Unlike the Domain Add-on, a Virtual Server Add-on point to a unique document root directory under the developers existing account. The Virtual Server Add-On option is available for a $25 one-time setup fee and a $9 monthly service charge. A $25 domain name registration fee (good for one year) is invoiced directly by Clearlight Communications to you or your client. POP/Webmail accounts ($3 per month) may be purchased for use with this option, if desired. Developers who maintain five Virtual Server accounts (either stand-alone or add-on) will receive the sixth account free (setup and domain registration charges apply).

Virtual Server Pro Add-on Option The Virtual Server Pro Add-On allows developers to offer a robust virtual server to clients with advanced requirements. The document root of the client's virtual server is configured as a subdirectory of the developer's existing account for easy administration. The Virtual Server Pro Add-On provides 500MB of disk space, 10GB of traffic, a unique IP address, and 10 extra 10MB POP/Webmail accounts for use by you or your client.

Virtual Server Pro Add-On pricing includes a one-time $25 setup fee and a $24 monthly service charge. A $25 domain name registration fee is invoiced directly by Clearlight Communications to you or your client.

Flexible Email Services POP/Webmail accounts may be resold/provided without restriction. Email addresses may by used under the Clearlight domain, your domain, or your client's domain. You may configure email aliases for your clients so that they may advertise certain addresses under their domain and have email to that address automatically forwarded. In many situations, an email account is only necessary when it is desired that the "From:" header in outgoing email show a particular user name and/or domain name. POP/Webmail email accounts with of 10MB of storage can be added to any domain name or virtual server account for $1 each. Client File Uploads/Updates In your role as a web site maintainer, you may need a way to allow clients and others to transfer their files to you (other than email MIME attachments). We support an HTTP upload method (through a CGI script) that will allow your clients to securely upload files to your account using Netscape (version 2.x or greater) or MS Explorer (version 4.x or greater) browsers.

Flexible Billing/Maintenance Options If you are only interested in selling your development services and won't be taking a margin on the web space, you may have us bill your client directly. If desired, maintenance of a client account can be turned over to the client or to another party at a later time, by making arrangements with the system administrator.

Bulk Reseller Discounts We offer a "buy five, get one free" bulk discount within specific product catagories. For example, every sixth Virtual Server (stand-alone or add-on) is free, every sixth Domain Add-on is free, and every sixth extra email account is free, for long as you continue to maintain five other similar services.
